1. The full form of BPL is -

• B - Below

• P - Poverty 

• L - Level

This is a economic term used by the government of India to determine  the weaker section of society. The Government of India provides the benefit of various scheme for the weaker section of society. In 2011 Suresh Tendulakar committee decided the people of below poverty level on the basis of daily exoendiexpe on food, health, education, transport and electricity.
